We did get a visit - but this is about remembering Piera

I take it all back. We did get a visit from Scott. He came, he saw, he sent. His pal (who somehow conveniently rhymes with Scott Pack - Steve Stack). So many thanks for the visit and many thanks for the comment from Steve.

So all is well in The Publishing Cupboard world. Or else it would be if it weren't for the sad news of the day. Piera died this morning. Piera lived at Ronco, a sky blue house set back in a valley in Tremezzo. This is the village my mother hails from on the shores of Lake Como. Probably paradise on Earth for those who have never visited. Piera was one of the very few cousins my mother had left. And I knew her all my life. My daughters would run up to the sky blue house set in the valley and come back laden with sweets from her.

This blog is a little prayer of remembrance for her.
