Rolling up my sleeves and back to marketing

Now that we are post Dragons' Den, I return to thoughts of marketing.

I hope that the exposure on the telly means that enough interested watchers will either end up reading this blog or else visiting their terrestial or online bookshops to buy a copy.

Language learners are always willing to try out new approaches and these are the people we need to reach.
  • School pupils who are serious about French, Spanish or Italian.
  • University or college students who need to shore up their grip on grammar.
  • Long life learners who want a bridge from phrase book French to a working understanding of how the language works
  • Parents who want to refresh their knowledge so they can help to their offspring.
That is the market and I need to focus on the best ways of reaching them. Strangely enough, for a tiny outfit like The Publishing Cupboard, bookshops are the most obvious but probably the hardest route to get to them.

More later...

Way to go - very brave going in front of the Dragons. Nearly fell off my exercise bike when my cousin appeared. I think if you had waved Simon Nye's great review at them they would have sat up a bit - methinks it should be prominent on your web site! Not that I can talk, I'm rubbish at marketing. Best of luck with the business, I salute a fellow entrepreneur. - Julian Smart www.writerscafe.co.uk
