The Publishing Cupboard is home. It is Monday morning and I am trying to shoehorn myself back into some kind of routine. This week the 10 words per week club resumes. This is where we send out 10 words for you to learn (visit www.publishingcupboard.co.uk to find out how to subscribe).
Every year when we come back from Italy, I say to my family, 'I am going to teach you Italian this autumn' and we start by learning 5 words per day. Probably many of you still have to go on holiday. In Glasgow, schools finish at the end of June and return on 18 August. This means that we are often ahead of the rest of the UK in terms of summer holidays.
I am delighted to say that our author, Sue Tyson-Ward is making great headway with Nod off in Portuguese and I am very much looking forward to putting it together. As it is a language I am less familiar with, it will make it all the more fascinating.
