Poor old Italian does seem to be jinxed. We were very much hoping to have stock in by 16 May but this is not going to be. As soon as we get a firm date, we will let you know.
Meanwhile, there is very good news on the US front. We have a publisher interested in licensing the Nod offs in America. They seem to be very open to the idea of relaxing and learning. As do many of the customers who are fortunate enough to stumble across the Nod offs in the bookshop and buy them.
The independent bookshops who stock our two Nod offs (The Carnforth Bookshop, The Falmouth Bookseller and Tinner's Rabbit) all report strong sales. And we have had great support from Frank at Waterstones in Sauchiehall Street. He organised the talk I did there last month and it was great fun meeting the people who came along.
There was one gentleman learning German and was hoping to find Nod off in German. I am afraid poor German gets rather a raw deal on the language publishing front because of its drop in popularity. However, The Publishing Cupboad recently received an email from a German expert who is interested in working on the German Nod off. So watch this space...
